Description

First, I know that there's no way anybody would pull an arrow back that way. I had something more realistic in mind, but was having trouble drawing it.

Anywho, new Verge character. She needs a name. I'm open to suggestions.

On top of me finally drawing a new picture, bellow you will find extensive information on the Verge race. If you're not interested in that, this is where you stop reading.
=============
Verge Race Information

Anatomy/Control:
-Verge are similar in build to humans except that they have two heads and four arms. They are also slightly larger than humans, although the difference in size is usually not big enough to notice.
-Each of a Verge's two heads has it's own mind and the two can act independently of one another.
-The right head has full control over both right arms, while the left head has full control over both left arms.
-Each of the sibling heads has her own primary hand, which is usually the lower hand for both siblings.
-Both siblings have full control of the legs. If they both try to move the legs in opposite directions, they will not be able to move them at all. In order for them to properly walk, one sibling must relax and allow the other full control. Because of this, Verge children take a longer time to learn how to walk than human children, most of them fully learning sometime around age 3.
-Verge Mothers physically carry their babies at all times until the child has learned to properly control it's legs, only putting the child down to let it try to walk or to help teach it. During this time the mother will typically hold her baby against her chest with both lower arms while she uses her upper arms to go about her daily life.

History: [note- this is the area I've worked on the least, so not much is decided yet]
-The origin of the Verge is still unknown
-They were nomadic for a long time, but over the past century have started to settle and form lasting villages near human settlements after the two races became allies

Culture/Mindset:
-The most important aspect of Verge culture is the sense of unity between the sibling heads. The siblings have no choice but to spend their entire lives together, and they are unable to walk or preform many tasks without cooperating with each other. Thus unity is vital to their comfort and survival.
-To the Verge, their sense of unity is a thing of honor. The two siblings are one person, to treat them like two people is to question their unity and is considered a huge insult.
-Verge children are given one name at birth. Most Verge will later split their given name into two so that both siblings can have a name of their own. However, these half names are seen as something special the siblings share amongst themselves and other people should still call them by their given name. Other people referring to them by their half names are treating them like two people, which is insulting to a Verge.
-As a former nomadic race, the Verge revere nature. The path of the Druid is common among them.
-Verge still have a natural wanderlust. Most individual Verge will go on a journey of some kind at some point in their life.

Diet:
-As nomads, Verge mainly lived off of wild meat and fruit. And their diet remains mostly the same out of habit today, aside from the new addition of vegetables.
-Vegetables were something the Verge as nomads could only get through trading with other races, and as such were considered special treats. Because of this most Verge have developed a great love of vegetables now that they can grow their own. The potato in particular is incredibly popular among them.
-Since they share one stomach, only one of a Verge's sibling heads has to eat for them to survive. However, since both siblings take enjoyment from eating, they will insist on sharing. Most Verge will refuse to eat if they do not have enough food for both siblings to have some.
-Verge typically eat two large meals a day (mainly to ensure that each meal will be big enough to share between the siblings).
-Both siblings eat off one large plate.

Speech:
-Whenever one of the siblings refers to themselves, they will do so in a plural sense ("we","us") as a sign of respect and acknowledgment for the other sibling.
-Unfortunately this can lead those unfamiliar with Verge culture to assume that they want others to refer to them that way as well- which, as stated above, is considered an insult.
-A common figure of speech among the Verge is "I am half, we are one". Originally a statement of affection that the siblings would say to each other (effectively, a special way of saying "I love you"), It has recently obtained a second use as a (usually) polite way of telling uninformed single headed people that the Verge siblings are one person, not two.
-Most Verge refer to single headed people as "lonelies". Because when the Verge first encountered such people it was common for Verge children to ask "Don't they get lonely without a sibling?". The "Lonelies" nickname is usually used in a loving or joking manner, although their are some racist Verge who use it in a hateful way or to suggest that one headed people are inferior.

More information to come later.
